I am in love with clay and paint.  

Inspired by the simplicity of Midwestern prairies and winter landscapes of my childhood, I create organic designs from rich color and bold line on both handcrafted ceramics and reclaimed windows.   Moving to Portland, Oregon in 1999, I traded snow for rain and immersed myself in the crafty culture of this creative city.  I became fascinated with the combination of function and art by playing with recycled paint on the backs of old windows and studying ceramics at Oregon College of Art and Craft.   

When not in the studio or working for color company YOLO Colorhouse, I can be found tending my garden or cuddling with my sweetest “goose”  (pictured here).
